Computer maintenance and cleaning is a very important part of protecting the life of a computer. In having maintenance and cleaning performed on your computer, you are choosing to keep it continuously running as well as possible. When Port-IT boards your vessel for service of your computers, our skilled professionals will begin by running a routine check on the system.
This includes:
- Cleaning out the inside of the PC to remove dust and dirt that has built up around the PC’s protective cooling fan. Cleaning the inside of the PC thoroughly and routinely is essential. If the inside is not cleaned out, computer components that become overheated may cause severe damage to your PC.
- Analyzing the PC for any upgrades or repairs that may need to be made, such as upgrading memory or replacing improperly running fans.
- If hardware shows signs of failure, we have the utilities to run diagnostic test on hard drives, memory, power supplies, and processors.
